What Makes Us Unique?
​​​1. We schedule all evaluations for 45 minutes or longer.
The evaluation appointment is typically the first time we get to meet our patients. It's completely FREE
of charge or obligation, regardless of the patient's choice to follow through with our services.
When you take into consideration everything that's needed to be discussed at an evaluation appointment, it's no surprise that the industry standard appointment time of 15-30 minutes is inadequate for the variety of tasks we perform during our detailed evaluation.
We discuss the following:
- Inquire about medical history
- ​Discuss insurance coverage (we accept all insurance policies)
- Test muscle strength and range of motion
- Analyze standing and walking alignment
- Discuss the prescribed device and any other options available
- Take measurements and impressions of the affected area
- Formulate a plan for fitting and using the device(s)
2. We help overcome transportation limitations.
Enduracare Orthotic & Prosthetic Services LLC is committed to caring for any of our patients' prosthetic and/or orthotic needs, regardless of access to transportation. We'll help schedule transportation to one of our offices or provide our services at nearly any location including:
- Homes
- Schools
- Daycare centers
- Clinics and more
Mobile services are available throughout the Pittsburgh area. We visit kids at home, at school, or at clinics.
3. We provide continuous follow-up care to all patients.
We encourage continuous follow up with our practitioners to track progress since we believe that FREE
re-assessments and adjustments are essential in maintaining positive outcomes and tracking effectiveness throughout the life of an orthotic or prosthetic device.
Sometimes we can catch a problem before it occurs or talk with the rehabilitation team about alternative options that may be more appropriate as a patient's condition or situation changes.
4. We accept all insurance policies.
We'll discuss all coverage options and potential out-of-pocket expenses in regards to any devices you may receive before any costs are incurred. Call us with any questions about insurance coverage. Please note that we may not know the specific device that will be covered until the evaluation appointment. Keep in mind that your deductible, among other insurance terms, may change before the delivery of the device.
